Rick Broida on E-book Prices
I’ve been working on a post in my head about e-books. I’ve been collecting the things I wanted to say, about the price differences between physical books and e-books, how more e-book copies sold just means more profits, not more costs, and about how Apple’s app store taught us that lowering a price means more copies sold, enough to cover the differences in price. I was all excited about writing it up and making great points.
And then my buddy sent me this link. Rick Broida says everything I wanted to say, and he probably says it better than I would have said it. I would have just added his article to the del.icio.us link section (hey, by the way, I added a del.icio.us link section in the sidebar), but his article pretty much eliminated the need for a post, so I thought it was worth an actual endorsement. So, please read him.

Thanks for the kind words!
