I disagree on "staunchly anti-technological message".

Avatar had two technical streams - one "The element" and two - "Nural Network".

It was an irony that person who did not even know what the "Flux" was (from - whats wrong with your instruments? - Sir - its Flux) driving the army and destruction of the place, for the People - who were interested in one - The element.

The message is clear - Soft and complex aspects are difficult to understand and can be destroyed for smaller and mean gains.

Also it was similar to Colonial Past of Europe w.r.t Third World.

Well, this system worked for me. I was able to finish my second novel after almost 4 years. Now, to edit using the same system?

I have seen that, and it's pretty cool.

I wrote this post in May, long before Skyrim came out, so this wasn't out when I wrote the post.

I would still rather it be baked into the game, rather than modded in, tho. The problem with what that guy does is it's *all* voice and motion commands - controlling the sword or bow with your hands looks cumbersome.

Still, what he does is really impressive, and I applaud him for doing it.

Well, now that i read this the picture is TOTALLY related to the article, but ONLY TO ME, because i went to mispeled to re-read some cubicle bears to get back on track and write a new episode. it's been so long that not only can i NOT remember the personality quirks and plot line of cubicle bear but i CAN NOT remember my password to log in to this site.
This method, of course, isn't really helpful to cubicle bear because every episode is quickly completed. Of course, it might be helpful if i want to run with some epic storyline...
I do think I'll try this when i write the vague novel in my head. it's sounds a logical and rewarding approach to writing.

Also, I think all art is just cloaked in the disguise of art. (from the point of view of the creator, not the observer)

Amazing post! I've actually been thinking about doing something like this for the past few weeks, only I wasn't sure if it would be worth trying it or not. After reading this, I'm going to go for it. It's better suited to the way my mind works than 'brute forcing' (which I think is a great way of putting it). I have a hard time wrapping my mind around a story if I don't already know how it plays out -- that is, I can't manipulate a reader's feelings if I don't know what I'm trying to make them feel.

But thanks! I'm glad I stumbled across this blog!
