Though he is a convicted arsonist, his voting rights were restored after a controversial 4-3 state supreme court decision ruled he was mentally unaccountable for his actions. Predators = AVP – Alien = Good

This is a movie that thrills the viewer with the threat of being stranded on a deadly, alien planet with an ugly, battle-scarred, merciless killing machine… named Danny Trejo. And I guess I was excited when I found out Predators were involved too.

Review: Heroes: Failmetrics and Euthanasia

On May 14, 2010 I was walking around with a grin on my face.  Why? Because it was Friday? No. Payday perhaps? Nope.  I was grinning because it was the day that Heroes was finally and irrevocably cancelled from the airwaves. Like unflushed vomit plugging the toilet the morning after a bender, the acrid stench of Heroes has swirled our bowls for the last time.  NBC has finally done the humane thing and spared the viewing public from another atrocious season of television.
Fuck you Heroes; I’m glad you’re dead.  Fuck …

Review: Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day

Throughout my life, I’ve had to defend many unpopular and perhaps extremist positions, yet among acquaintances it is not my religious or political views that tend to encounter the most opposition or criticism.  No, it is my profound and abiding distaste for the film The Boondock Saints which perhaps more than anything else forces me to endure unending hostility.
One of the most overrated films of the 1990s and completely undeserving of cult following, the original Boondock Saints was a simple low budget revenge/vigilante action film starring a few no-name leads …
